Your customers in Brussels and Wallonia can now authorise their Peppol registration in French. Name the language in the request:
const attestation = await peppol.legalEntities.requestAttestation(entityId, {
contactEmail: "gerance@boulangerie-dupont.example",
language: "fr-BE",
});
console.log(attestation.language); // "fr-BE"
The email, the confirmation page, its error messages and the wording your customer confirms are all in French. The wording is written for Belgian readers, with the data-protection terms of the French text of the GDPR, and a native reader approved it before production used it. The record keeps the language your customer confirmed in, next to the version of the wording.
Three languages are now available: en, nl-BE and fr-BE. fr alone is a
different tag and is refused, never mapped to fr-BE: send fr-BE explicitly.
The Supported languages table
is the current list.
No SDK update is needed: language is a string in every SDK version since 5.7.0.
On the Branding page, the language you pick for the preview now stays after a refresh, and the test email follows the same choice.
